The 2014 200 vs. 2015 200
It'd be interesting to drive the two back-to-back to see how greatly they've improved mechanically.

Wow, I've never seen the interior on the new car. This seems like a huge leap in quality.

From what I've read it's very, very nice.

My only question is why doesn't the new one have an analog clock?

I like white leather, but putting it in the steering wheel will make it a pain to clean.

Because it's fucking pointless.

Eh, maybe, but damn it looks nice.

Well that was a little strong. I kind of like it and it's kind of classy but whatever.

I hate cars that have an analog clock. You want me to divert my eyes from the road to try and read the hands on the clock. How about no.

The wood makes perfect contrast.

The 2015 Chrysler 200. Better in every conceivable way. So much better, in fact, that new categories of better were invented for this car.

This might be the only thing the 2014 has on the 2015: an analog clock

Perfect motto.

Which is a stupid cheap thing to make it look more "upscale."

That's actually a damn nice interior.
The 300 needs a redo of this magnitude. Badly.

The 300 needs an interior like this and need to keep it's boxy, badass exterior style.

In late 2012, I had a Chrysler 200 as a rental. It had the four-cylinder and it was rubbish. Granted, the car was a rental, but it had 17,000 miles and almost died on me several times.
Then again, my friend and his fiancé have a 2014 200 with the V6 and it is alright. Nothing special, but not altogether horrible.

The four cylinder is horrible. The rental was probably attached to the four-speed as well.

Yep. And at every stoplight, it shuddered and shook like my old '92 Chevy Beretta did. I was shocked the Chrysler wasn't throwing a code, but I had no check engine light.

It'll always be a sebring to me...

It seems that no one has driven one yet. I have in fact! I'll say that although it's not as good as a Mazda6 I drove, it's not bad. I drove an AWD v6 model. It was hard to get used to it shifting so much, and it felt a bit clunky (maybe just a software bug), but my main issue oddly enough was the sound. It's supposed to be a entry level luxury sedan, correct? Well then it shouldn't have such an odd drony engine note, even if it sounds good from the outside.
OTHER THAN THAT (and the steering being totally numb) it's a great car!

I'm pretty sure there was a bug with the 9-speed early on.
I think it's actually supposed to be more mainstream, as Malibu/Fusion competitor.
Good to hear!
![]() 08/17/2014 at 22:29 |

It feels so much more luxurious than the Malibu or Fusion though. Seriously
![]() 08/17/2014 at 22:31 |

It comes in at the same prices as the Malibu/Fusion.
Hell, it starts CHEAPER than both of them.

I've sat in a top end Fusion and Malibu. Not as nice. I've also sat in a lower trim 200 and it's about as nice as a base model Fusion. So it competes until you get in the high trim level I suppose
